LAN problems ?!?!
Hello
I am really keen to play airMAPS v6 on a local area network but i cannot see server that has been created (on a listen server of airMAPS v6)...
It is quite odd because i can play airMAPS v5.71 and normal bf2 on LAN with no worries...
Is there something i need to change to play v6 on LAN that i don't need to change on v5.71??
Am i the only person who is having this problem ?!?

Yes, we know this issue: the local server is invisible in the list.
Actually, we've got no solution but we continue searching.
The only thing you can do is to connect yourself with your online account and to use the "connect to IP" function.

Is there a solution for this problem?
Maybe there's a hint to connect on a LAN server.
We can't see the local servers...

Have you tried to set the filter "Gamemodes" at "All" in your game browser ?

yes, we can't see the server.

It's a BF2 browser issue I guess: it can't deal with the specific airmaps gamemodes (dogfight and stunt).
We are developing a little tool which will help you to join a local server easily. You'll have more information as soon as we've finished the project (this mean very very soon :D).
For the moment, you can modify the "run airmaps.bat" by adding an option: +join ip (this will connect you to the server which has the IP ip).
Code:
start bf2.exe +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/airmaps +join 127.0.0.1

I don't know if everybody has understand what i've tried to done with this tool but it works fine (not with hamachi, and don't ever support password protected servers).
Howerver, it will help you to join an airmaps local server
