Pour ma part, j'ai supporté le lantin trois ans. J'ai arreté ensuite, je ne pouvais plus supporter ça !
de la 5ème à la 3ème j'imagine... je compatis
aller, j'ai plus que 2 mois à tenir avant d'en finir avec ça

You don't have to understand anything. .

Now, AirMaps has a self installer: you download a executable file which will install the mod on your computer (in the EAGames>Battlefield 2>mods>... directory) wink

Download the last version of AirMaps here: v. 5,71

Are you sure it isn't only : (hard-drive): \(yourfolder)\battlefield2 ?
I installed airmaps in only battlefield 2's folder , and the airmaps' components were automatically installed in the folder (hard-drive): \(yourfolder)\....\battlefield2\mods\airmaps.

Sorry for my bad English , if they are a admin who can correct me , make this please. wink

It will install the mod.
You don't have to do anything neither click on the .exe tongue

And 2h15 of download: check your connection because I download airmaps in 3minutes at 1.5Mo/s .

Hi,
im new to modding and iv been playing Battlefield 2 alot and i downloaded this mod and i put it in - C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2/Mods

i made an Airmaps folder and when i go Community, custom games, Airmaps it gives me this error :

" Shaders/staticMesh.fx not found!!_DO_check your working directory,_AND_sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer?GP.(Really!)

yes i am stupid and i need some help

All right.
Installing and playing AirMAPS is very easy. I see the mistake is that the mod isn't installed in the right place.
The easiest way to correct that would be to check if the airmaps folder (that is automatically created) is in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods (and not in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\mods where I think you have installed it).

You could also uninstall it, and then reinstall it, but just pointing the Battlefield 2 folder, not the mods subdirectory.

To launch AirMAPS, a shortcut pointing to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\airmaps\run_airmaps.bat is created on your desktop.

but i had to download the zip file , or i would be waiting 32 hours for the exe download to be done

and i think im missing some things idk

ok this is what is in the Airmaps folder( witch i had to manualy create):
(Levels, Localization, python, settings)-File folders sad

airmaps.mew, Defaultenvmap.tweak, gamelogicinit.con, gamershell, GH3D.txt, ingame.mep, init.con, menu_server.zip, mod.desc, object_server.zip, readme.txt, & sererarchives.con

idk what im missing and its driving me crazy

am i missing any thing ?

Yeah you're missing something laugh
The client files !
I'm pretty sure you downloaded the server files (much less files indeed, easier to download, but useless if you wanna do anything else that creating a server).
So you've got to download that exe big file, I'm sorry.
